 Model answer

The chart examines the levels of donation among people of different ages in Canada.

Overall, a greater proportion of Canadians gave money to charitable organisations in 2000 than in 2015. However, in terms of trends over time, the donor rate did not change in the same way among all age groups.

In 2000, the proportion of Canadians made charitable donations ranged from a high of 39% in the 35-to-49 age group to a low of 20% in the 18-to-24 age group. By 2015, these figures had fallen significantly to 34% and 11% respectively. The rate of donors among the population aged 25 to 34 also decreased from 29% in 2000 to 25% in 2015.

While the proportion of donors aged 18 to 49 declined between 2000 and 2015, the trend followed an opposite direction for older Canadians. For example, among people aged 50 to 64, the share of donors rose by 4% to nearly 38%, which was the highest percentage for 2015. The figure for older seniors aged 65 and over was lower than this, at 34%, but it was still a little higher than the 2000 figure of 31%.

Introduction:
Well, I am quite health conscious and for physical and mental fitness I daily go for a walk.

When this happened?
I usually go for walk alone as my friends are bit lazy to get up early to join me but here I would share the experience of having a long walk with my cousin who was visiting India after long time.

Who you were with?
My cousin Karan actually lives in Canada and last month he was visiting us.

Where you walked?
Like me he is also in habit of going for a walk so he joined the next morning. Since, there are lots of farms around where I live, on his request we decided to have a walk around the farmland. Till now he was complaining about pollution in the area but when he inhaled the fresh air in the morning he felt so good. The dew drops on the leaves and flowers were so health giving.

I took it as an opportunity to show him my farms and the vegetables grown there which he saw after ages. I plucked few fresh carrots for him and he was happy about it. During this walk, we recalled our childhood memories and had a good laugh. During this walk Karan told me about how Canadian culture is different than Indian and how his life has changed after moving to that country.

He said the country is full of opportunities especially for students who move there for further study as they can do some part time job along study and become independent. He said just in 5 years he has purchased a super car and a house which is quite impressive. In fact, he advised me to plan to move to Canada for higher studies. We were so lost in talks that we walked for almost 10 kms.

And explain how you felt about this walk? and Conclusion:
This was time we decided to return and continued enjoying the talks. Overall, it was a long walk I enjoyed that allowed me to spend quality time and share feelings with my cousin.
